Dolcissimo was formed in the spring of 2007, mainly drawing on our sister choir Dolce for its membership. Under musical director Deirdre Ní Chaomhánaigh, we have had a busy first year, performing in both the Cork and Sligo International Choral Festivals - taking second prize in our category in Sligo - busking and performing at various corporate and private functions. During that time we have built up a varied repertoire, with an emphasis on a high musical standard, rich harmonies and strong entertainment value.  Our current repertoire includes such well known favourites as Let's Do It, I Got Rhythm, Java Jive, Danny Boy, The Teddy Bears' Picnic, as well as songs by Billy Joel, Lennon and McCartney and others.

We have found that our intimate and entertaining musical style works particularly well at private parties and medium sized functions (up to approximately 100 people). Why not hire us for your party?
